Crop 08 was such a huge success that we are going to do it again with Crop 10.
We will showcase the talents of the songwriters in our region at the regional conference in July of 2010.

Me thinks the submission date has passed; (Apr 1).
For future reference: I *think* the aim of the organizers is to foster worship songwriting amongst us Eastern Region worshippers. So the songs should be ones that you might *sing* in church. Not sure if an instrumental fits there. For more info, click on the link a couple of posts up for the brochure.

8 days and counting.
Questions: Are there any specific requirements for the types of tunes submitted? i.e. do they have to be songs we’ve played in our churches? Can they be instrumentals? For that matter do they even have to be worship songs? Inquiring minds want to know…

Hey Randy,
Aliens came down shot my Crop 2010 pamphlet with a garbonzo beam so that now the words are all in fish language and I don’t speak fish!
Then my dog ate it.
Would you mind posting all of the Crop 2010 Submission requirements & procedures here? Or point us to where they are already posted.

Hey Randy… somehow I never got your reply on here! Just saw it today. yes I am submitting again. I have a new CD coming out Christmas week, so I am ready to go with stuff to submit!

when is this actually happening? when is the submission deadline?

Keep in mind that the submitted songs if chosen, will be placed on the CD without any production. The choice of how much to produce is up to you. You can submit your song with a vocal and guitar/piano or a full band.
